Patta and New Balance, who frequently work together, have teamed up once again. This time, the iconic 990v3 sneaker from the Boston-based company gets a makeover from the Amsterdam-based retailer.

The two have revealed that their New Balance 990v3 collaboration will hit shops before the end of the week after recently collaborating with Nike to offer a series of unique Air Max 1 styles, including the "Pure Platinum" colourway last month.

The mesh upper and premium suede overlay pieces of the Patta x New Balance 990v3 are both made in an olive colour. While metallic silver hits cover the tongue and heel tab, contrast green panels can also be seen on the toe box and by the ankle collar. The shoe's overall design is completed by Patta branding on the heel counter, a speckled Encap midsole, and a black rubber outsole. The brands claim that this will be the only pair of sneakers they have ever produced that will come in full-family sizing.
"The cooperation celebrates everyone from the youngest and brightest to the oldest and wisest because both brands are family owned and in harmony with the adage, "Keep Your Family Close." The much-anticipated kids model is the most recent release from the Patta x New Balance partnership; it is also Patta's first-ever children's shoe. Patta said this in the Instagram caption of its upcoming New Balance 990v3 collaboration.

This Friday, the Patta x New Balance 990v3 collaboration will go on sale at Patta retail locations and through Newbalance.patta.nl. The shoe will be available for $220 at retail.
